Sheriff’s Office:

• On May 23, someone broke into the Light of Christ International Outreach Center on Eason Drive, Smithfield, and stole more than $1,500 in construction equipment, including nail guns, saws and industrial batteries.

• Oscar Tony Jones Jr., 18, of 107 Clydesdale Drive, Zebulon, was arrested May 24 and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a firearm and felony conspiracy.

• On May 24, someone broke into the Murphy’s Express gas station on N.C. 42 West, Garner, and stole more than $9,900 in cigarettes.

• Samantha Renehan, 26, of 90 Teresa St., Four Oaks, was arrested May 24 and charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.

• Angel Isaiah Martinez, 18, of 504 Waterford Drive, Clayton, was arrested May 24 and charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place for drug use, and possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver.

• Demorris Tyree Meeks, 24, of 109 Country Lane, Smithfield, was arrested May 25 and charged with assault by strangulation, larceny of a motor vehicle, injury to real property and assault on a female.

• On May 26, someone broke into a home on Bradford Circle, Clayton, and stole more than $2,000 in property, including a flat-screen television, a laptop computer, a gas grill and a generator.

• Terry Lynn McCain, 32, of 102 Carmen Lane, Clayton, was arrested May 26 and charged with breaking and entering, and larceny after breaking and entering.

• On May 26, someone broke into a home on Valley Drive, Clayton, and stole $4,500 in property, including $4,000 in miscellaneous jewelry.

• Christopher James Shearon, 28, of 101 Wheatfield Lane, Clayton, was arrested May 27 and charged with sexual battery.

• Susan Beasley Blackman, 49, of 2137 Bakers Chapel Road, Smithfield, was arrested May 27 and charged with possession of a stolen firearm.

Smithfield Police:

• Kendall Antonio Mingo, 25, of 42 Towbridge St., Smithfield, was arrested May 28 and charged with larceny by an employee. Mingo, who works for Belk department store on Bright Leaf Boulevard, is accused of stealing Bluetooth speakers, a tablet computer and two solar phone chargers.

• Kenneth Thomas Weaver, 21, of 165 Christina Ave., Smithfield, was arrested May 28 and charged with possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Christopher Scott Dean, 35, and Christopher John Martowska, 37, both of 2750 Thanksgiving Fire Road, Selma, were arrested May 29 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Dean was also charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Martowska was also charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

• Kendra Franchane Bodrick, 26, of 413 Collier St., Smithfield, was arrested May 30 and charged with misdemeanor larceny, providing fictitious information to an officer and driving while license revoked.
