Why Pitt? “I really liked the campus when I was there and that it was still not too far out of this area. I really connected with the coaching staff. You really got the sense that they were searching for student-athletes.”

Notable: Jeremiah played center for SSS out of necessity but projects as a small forward in college. “I know it’s going to take a lot of practice and reps, but I feel like I can play that position in college,” he said. … He transferred from Cleveland before his senior season. … Although the Spartans didn’t win as many games as they would have liked this past season, Jeremiah said they accomplished a lot. “We felt like it was the foundation year for what’s to come at Smithfield-Selma,” he said. “They’ve got some talented guys here and I was just really excited to be a part of the program here.”
