Clayton center announces lineup

The Clayton Center has announced its 2013-2014 Palladian Series lineup. All shows will be at The Clayton Center, 111 E. Second St. For tickets, call 919-553-1737, visit or drop by the box office.

Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand – The bluegrass band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Tickets are $22.

Chic Gamine – The Canadian quartet will perform at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17. Tickets are $20.

Barbara Bailey Hutchison – The Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter will perform her alternative folk music at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23. Artwork by local high school students will be on display. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.

It’s a Wonderful Life: Live from WVL Radio Theatre – The stage adaptation of “It’s a Wonderful Life” is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. Tickets are $20.

Big Band Christmas – The Tar River Swing Band will perform classic jazz infused with holiday flair at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14. Tickets are $20.

Junior Brown – The country and rock artist will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25. Tickets are $25.

Hot Club of San Francisco – The gypsy jazz ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. Tickets are $25.

The Celtic Tenors – The group will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 15. Tickets are $25.

James Gregory – The comedian will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, April 11. Tickets are $25.

School House Rock: Live – East Carolina University’s Storybook Theatre will present the children’s show at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children.
