Corinth Holders basketball, cheerleading sign-ups

Registration for basketball and cheerleading with Corinth Community Recreation will be held from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday nights in the concession stand behind Corinth-Holders Elementary School through Oct. 29. The cost is $50 per child, and children in Pre-K through eighth grade are welcome. All games are played at the Corinth-Holders Elementary School gym. Concelead carry classes in Clayton

Trigger Happy Guns and Accessories on Main Street in Clayton will conduct one-day concealed carry classes from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 15. The cost is $75. Equipment is required. Call 919-585-6504.

Johnston County Horse Show Series dates set

Semi-pro basketball tryouts

The new Tobacco Road Basketball League's (TRBL) men's semi-pro team, the Neuse River Basketball Club, will hold a tryout from 7-9 p.m, Oct. 20, at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics.
