Sheriff’s Office

• Michael Travis Pearson, 53, of 313 E. Stallings St., Clayton, was arrested Nov. 21 and charged with assault on female.

• John Stanley Creech, 20, of 4559 Stevens Chapel Road, Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with assault on female and communicating threats.

• David Lee Carter, 25, of 201 William Drive, Benson, was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and three counts of committing a crime against nature.

• Christopher Douglas Barnes, 33, of 145 Holly Grove Church Road, Benson, was arrested Nov. 20 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

• Jacob Allen Bayes, 30, of 503 Drag Strip Road, Benson, was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with assault on female.

• Jimmy Michael Mitchell, 50, of 501 E. Wilson St., Kenly, was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with obtaining property by false pretense.

• Nicholas Stuart Ingram, 22, of 2845 Benson-Hardee Road, Benson, was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer.

• Dennis Deshaun Williams, 21, of 102 S. Church St., Selma, was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with possession of a firearm by felon.

• Raul Gonzalez Vega, 18, of 20810 Cajalco Road, Perris, Calif., was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with trafficking in cocaine.

• Raul Pineda, 31, of 116 W. Stuckle Ave., Anaheim, Calif., was arrested Nov. 19 and charged with trafficking in cocaine.

• Michael Wayne Buie, 55, of 715 S. Third St., Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with assault on female.

• Brian Jevon Frazier, 39, of 434 Condary Road, Selma, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with assault on female.

• German Luis Velasquez, 31, of 11029 N.C. 210, Four Oaks, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

• Carlos Luis Velasquez, 23, of 11029 N.C. 210, Four Oaks, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon.

• Gary Daniel Jackson, 34, of 503 Old Mount Olive Highway, Dudley, was arrested Nov. 18 and charged with felony larceny and felony conspiracy.

• Timothy Ray Langston, 46, of 107 Holloman Lane, Selma, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with assault on female.

• William Andrew Langdon, 30, of 3382 N.C. 210, Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with assault on child under 12, assault on female and assault to inflict serious injury while a minor was present.

• Nathan Jon Weston Jr., 21, of 8031 U.S. 701 South, Newton Grove, was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with discharging a firearm into occupied property, first-degree burglary and resisting an officer.

• Paul David Chadwick, 26, of 1069 Price Road, Selma, was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with assault on female.

• On Nov. 14, someone broke into a home on Creech Church Road, Kenly, and stole $1,701 in property, including three TVs, golf clubs and two digital cameras.

• John James Gomez, 46, of 123 Nicklaus Drive, Garner, was arrested Nov. 14 and charged with assault on female and battery of an unborn child.

• Terrance Murray Smith, 43, of 701 Italy St., Fayetteville, was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with trying obtain property by false pretense. On Nov. 14, three more charges were added: forgery of instrument, uttering a forged instrument and identity theft.

• Theophulas Vick, 63, of 1118 Stoke Road, Middlesex, was arrested Nov. 14 on charges including possession of cocaine.

Smithfield Police

• Denise Anderson Horne, 44, of 715 S. Third St., Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and simple assault.

• Eugene Joseph Barnes, 28, of 1016 Cherry St., Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy. On Nov. 19, he was charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking or entering.

• Robert Tyre Barnes, 24, of 1496 Old Sanders Road, Smithfield, was arrested Nov. 17 and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy. On Nov. 19, he was charged with breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.

• On Nov. 17, an armed robber stole $804 from the Smithfield Chicken ’N Bar-B-Q on North Bright Leaf Boulevard.

• On Nov. 16, police responded to a burglary at Smithfield Parks and Recreation Department on Booker Dairy Road. A thief got away with $370 in property, including food, money and a rake, and caused $1,500 in damage to a door.

• On Nov. 16, police responded to a burglary at a home on Waddell Drive. A thief got away withe $3,610 in property, including wire, a TV and traps, and caused $350 in damage to a ceiling and window.

• On Nov. 16, police responded to a burglary at a home on Elm Drive, where someone stole $14,000 in cash.
