Senior seeks help with project

I am a senior at Smithfield-Selma High School. For my senior project, I’m building a sidewalk at the South Smithfield Elementary School playground for kids who have handicapped needs.

To raise money I will be taking donations and holding a raffle. The raffle tickets are $5; the prizes are a $50 gift certificate to Springhill Outfitters, $50 to Mariana Seafood and Buffet, $20 to La Cocina, $20 to Mucho Mexico, a one-month membership at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatics Center, a Cerwin-Vega package from Sound Station and Security or a gift basket donated by Kidsville News.

Donations can be dropped off and raffle tickets may be purchased at South Smithfield Elementary and Smithfield-Selma High.

This sidewalk will benefit kids with special needs for many years. Please donate to help a child with special needs have a brighter day.
