Corinth Community spring youth sports registration

Corinth Community Recreation is now holding registration for spring baseball, T-ball and softball for ages 4-14. Register online at ccrpirates.com or in person at Corinth-Holders Elementary School (3976 Highway 231, Zebulon) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. every Saturday through Feb. 1. Leagues are filled on a first come, first served basis and if teams are filled children are put on a wait list. The cost is $60 for baseball and softball and $40 for T-ball. Each additional child in the family registering for a league is $50 for baseball or softball and $35 for T-ball.

Holiday weekend basketball camp

The MLK Jr. Basketball Skills Camp will be held Jan. 20-21 at the J.D. Lewis Multipurpose Center (2245 Garner Road, Raleigh). There will be two-hour sessions focusing on breakdown and pragmatic skill work for grades 2-4 (10 a.m. until noon), 5-6 (noon until 2 p.m.) and 7-9 (2-5 p.m.) each day. The cost is $20 per session. There will also be a day-long session open to grades 2-12 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days for $50 a session. For more info, call 919-232-3642.
