Why Wesleyan? “The coaching staff really caught my attention, along with their academics.”

Also Considered: Guilford

Notable: Garrett is going back to catching passes instead of throwing them as he heads to college. He was South’s quarterback as a senior, after spending his junior season at wide receiver. (He played quarterback both years of junior varsity ball as well.). … “I didn’t expect to play wide receiver in college but their coaching staff liked the potential I showed,” Garrett said. “The competition part of playing wide receiver is something I really enjoy.”
