Club Team: CASL Premier U18

Height, Weight: 5-foot-7, 150 pounds

Position: Center Attacking Midfielder

Why Mount Olive? “I looked at a lot of schools and I just liked what I saw. They saw me play and were interested. When I visited I loved what I saw on the tour, from the faculty and students. … Plus it’s 10 minutes away from my mom.”

Major: Business Management

Notable: Joseph knows UMC assistant soccer coach Jordan Germano from the club scene and really clicked with him and the program after learning more about the Trojans’ soccer program. … Joseph scored 10 goals and registered 11 assists for Smithfield-Selma this past fall in 18 matches, helping the Spartans win the Two Rivers 3A Conference championship. “Being a part of bringing a conference championship to our school is something I’ll never forget,” he said. … He wants to improve his stamina as he prepares to play at the college level.
