Programs, services

Revival services are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, May 14-17, at Sanders Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church, 814 Blount St., Smithfield.

Women’s Day services are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Shiloh Christian Church, 209 Durham St., Smithfield.

Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will honor its pastor at 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at the church, 2861 Brogden Road, Smithfield.

Rains Crossroads Original Free Will Baptist Church will celebrate homecoming Sunday, May 18, at the church, 5430 Princeton-Kenly Road, Kenly. Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m. The morning worship service, including a tribute to recently deceased members, will follow at 11 a.m.

Revival services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. May 18 and 7 p.m. May 19-21 at Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church, 112 E. Blanche St., Pine Level.


Plates of barbecued chicken will be on sale from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Hephzibah Baptist Church, 4633 U.S. 70, Princeton. The cost is $7 and includes potatoes, green beans, a roll and dessert. Takeout will be available. For more information call 919-965-5886 or visit

A country breakfast is scheduled from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at New Zealand Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 5312 Meadowbrook Road in the Meadow community. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger.
