Ice cream social

An ice cream social is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 1082 Amelia Church Road, Clayton. The evening will offer ice cream and games.

Gospel music

A gospel sing is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. Sunday, June 22, at Howell Chapel Church, 214 E. Preston St., Selma. The lineup includes God’s Men of Harmony, Tru Prayze and Brother Virtes and the New Spiritual Messengers.

Eric and Laura Ollis will sing at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Burnell Baptist Church, 3720 Old School Road, Four Oaks. Admission is free; the church will collect an offering for the group. For more information, call the Rev. Jessie Brock at 919-894-1418.

Food giveaway

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School for all ages is scheduled from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Sanders Grove Baptist Church on N.C. 210 west of Smithfield.

A Night of Deliverance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 13, at Blessed By God Ministries, 906 Blount St., Smithfield. Pastor Antonio Taylor of Higher Elevation Ministry in Goldsboro will speak.

A tent revival is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. June 25-27 at Smith-Collins Park on East Lee Street in Smithfield.

Super Sunday Nights are under way at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, 4440 Pine Grove Road, Angier. Through August, every Sunday evening will feature special music services.
