Why UNCP? “I loved the team and the coach and I’m ready to be that impact player.”

Notable: Jamie is going to have a busy summer as she has the goal of earning a starting spot as a freshman for the Braves next spring. “I need to get better at my game period,” she said. “I can’t take a day off because my goal is to be an impact freshman player.” … She never spent much time out of the lineup at North, lettering 13 times and playing four years of varsity softball, basketball and softball. (She also spent a year on the track team.) … Jamie helped North to more than 80 wins during her softball career and earned all-state honors as a junior. She was a two-time Female Athlete of the Year at North Johnston, picked up the Extra Effort Award and earned multiple all-conference and all-district awards. … Her biggest memory from softball at North Johnston: “Gaining 16 sisters every year on the field and knowing they always have my back.”
