Parker joins Four Oaks Bank

Brandon Barker has joined Four Oaks Bank in Clayton as a commercial lender.

A native of Dunn, Parker is a graduate of Campbell University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in trust and investment management with a minor in financial planning. He earned his master’s degree in business administration at Campbell and has completed the N.C. School of Banking program at Chapel Hill.

Parker brings nine years of banking and lending experience to Four Oaks Bank.

“I am confident Brandon will be as asset to our company,” said Brent George, vice president and Clayton city executive at Four Oaks Bank. “We look forward to the contributions Brandon will make as he works to generate business relationships in Clayton and the surrounding area.”

Brandon and his wife, the former Johanna Shipman of New Bern, presently reside in Lillington.

Allstate salutes Johnston agencies

Two Allstate agencies in Johnston County have been named Allstate Premier Agencies for 2014.

The Keith Branch Agency is in Suite 600 at 8838 U.S. 70 Business West in Clayton. The phone number is 919-550-6451.

The Medlin Agency, owned by Tom Medlin, is at 324 N. Bright Leaf Blvd. in Smithfield. The phone number is 919-934-6141.

Allstate bestows its Premier Agency designation on less than 48 percent of its nearly 10,000 agency owners across the country. The Johnston agencies received the designation for outstanding business performance and commitment to putting customers first.
